Sammie Showcase Like You Were There!

For those of you who werent able to attend the Sammies Country/Bluegrass showcase the other week, Its pichers! Its almost like you were there, only quieter.

So how did it go? Pretty damn well. There were definitely the usual problems trying to make acoustic instruments "loud enough for a club", so we used it to our advantage. We pushed dynamics and added a little extra blistering agent to the solos. It was a good setting for us. We saw the opportunity and ran with it.

I personally thought it was very cool that there were no electric basses in the whole show. It feels good to be amongst my doghouse peers, grinding for votes. Which reminds me, if you havent voted, get off your tukus and register!
